ACC 220 - Managerial Accounting

3 credits (PREREQUISITE: "C-" OR BETTER IN ACC 101) (Students who have taken ACC 225 cannot earn credit for this course.)

This course provides a basic understanding of the role of accounting information in the business decision-making process. Students will learn to calculate break-even point, target net income, job-order and process costing and to use accounting in a manufacturing environment. Students will learn to prepare reports with recommendations to management regarding financial decisions. Using the Master Budget and Preparing Flexible Budgets with variance Analysis will also be covered. (F, Sp, Su)
