HSC 350 - Continuous Quality Improvement
3 credits (PREREQUISITE: ENG 101 and 3 additional credits in composition)
This course provides basic principles associated with Total Quality Management (TQM) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). Aids identification and quality problem-solving found in all health care organizations utilizing CQI tools and techniques. Through the use of case studies, current events, and textbook materials, students will learn how to identify problems, recommend improvements, and collect data to demonstrate process improvement. (F)
