ASD 120 - The College Experience
3 credits (PREREQUISITE: NONE)
Student success in navigating through the college world is the goal of this course. For students new to college life,this course provides an extensive orientation in the culture of higher education. Students will develop skills needed for achievement in academics as well as in handling personal issues which may have an impact on their chance of college success including finances, time management, family and job responsibilities, health and crisis management, note-taking, test-taking strategies, and prioritization of academic tasks.
